Our shop sits 12 minutes west on US-70, so Efland is one of our shortest drives. Jose Roca can walk your house, old village home or new build on acreage, the day after you call.

Efland grew up around a railroad depot in the 1890s and is now growing again on the land around it. Those two histories set the painting work.
The railroad reached the town in 1890, and the Efland Milling Company has operated since 1893. About one in eight homes in the area dates to the 1940s, and older farmhouses remain, including the Federal-style David Faucette House from around 1820 on Hall's Mill Road. Houses like these need trim and siding checked board by board before a new coat.
Nearly a quarter of homes in the area went up in the 2010s, and build-on-your-lot subdivisions like The Reserve at Evergreen Farm on Conner Ridge Road are still adding more. A newer house usually needs no repairs. What it often needs is a more washable interior finish and touch-ups where trim and caulk have moved.
Local real estate listings regularly show lots of 2 to 10 acres, and the Eno River's two forks meet about 5 miles north. Where those lots are wooded, expect shaded siding, heavy pollen and full gutters. We wash first, give walls time to dry, and check gutters while the ladders are up.
These photos are from projects across our service area, including work near Efland. Look at the cut lines where color meets trim and how clean the surrounding surfaces stay.

Questions? Call Us(336) 512-0981Every Efland price starts with Jose walking the house, and the fixed quote reflects the hours the work needs. We don't use square-foot pricing, because a 1940s house near the old depot and a 2015 home on five acres need very different prep. Jose lists the prep, repairs and painting in one written quote, and the estimate visit itself is free. Put the request in through our form or call 336-512-0981.
