Roca's Painters is a family-owned, Latino-owned company based in Mebane, 25 miles west of downtown Durham. Jose Roca started it in 2016, and he still drives out to walk every estimate himself. He usually has a written price to you by the end of that day.

Older Houses in Trinity Park, Watts-Hillandale and Forest Hills

These neighborhoods were built from the 1890s through the 1950s, in Queen Anne, Craftsman and Colonial Revival styles. That means porch columns, brackets, wide window casings and a lot of trim per wall. Trim is where the hours go. Treyburn, to the north, is an HOA community, and most residents of Woodcroft, on the south side with a median build year of 1994, live in HOA subdivisions. If your association reviews exterior colors, bring its approved palette or approval letter to the estimate, and we price the job to that color.

Humid Summers and Spring Pollen

The muggy stretch here runs from late May to about October 1, and pine pollen coats every surface from late March into April. For exteriors, that means washing first and giving surfaces time to dry before primer. Spring pollen is also why a fall exterior can be worth waiting for.
